CIS Steel and Metals Directory is a regularly issued specialized reference book containing comprehensive information about addresses, contact details, activity and production of the metallurgical enterprises and trade companies.

The unique database that systematizes the information about metallurgical branch of the former USSR countries and sums up the past changes, constantly finds big interest among specialists within the branch and beyond it.

The first edition of the directory was published in 1996 and then it was reedited twice, revised and added in 1998 and 2000.

The information for the 3-d version was collected in the third and fourth quarter of 2002 and reflects the significant changes that happened since the moment of the previous edition including the restructure, big amalgamations and creation of big holdings in production sector, extension process in trade as well as new companies appearance.

As the previous years the directory represents the updating of the most essential changes in the managing structure and the companies trade personnel, companies location and contact options.

634 producers of steel and metals products, raw materials and metallurgical equipment producers as well as 580 trade, managing, servicing and other companies, their representations and subsidiaries are presented in the directory.

Geographically the directory covers all 15 states of the former USSR.
